We wanted our wedding to be different, and thought having a wedding overseas somewhere exotic and warm with our best friends and family would be fun. We had no idea where to start, so thought we should employ wedding planners, and we are so glad we did! They liaise with you and the resort or wherever you have chosen to tie the knot and ensure that you get what you want! But how can you be certain that this will be the case? It’s a big decision choosing someone to help plan your special day, so that is why I sent out what felt like a million emails and enquires to every wedding planner I could find, and after everyone sent me questionnaires to complete and return, I was all but ready to give up my dream and just get married in Australia - that is when I stumbled across ‘Take us to Thailand’ I sent the same enquiry that I had sent to everyone else, half expecting yet another questionnaire, but still holding on to that glimmer of hope that they may be able to assist. I was in luck, Natalie and Anna responded to my email & answered my questions (no questionnaire) and were so friendly and helpful, it was then I knew that I had found the right people to plan my special day!
Right from the word go Natalie and Anna were helpful, professional and also a lot of fun! They took the hard work out of planning a wedding and made it a really enjoyable experience – my husband just loved that he didn’t have to do a thing other than show up on the day! Our wedding day was everything we could have dreamed of its hard to imagine how it will turn out on the day when you are over 7hrs and two flights away, but Anna and Nat did not disappoint. Everything was as I had imagined and it came together really well on the day. All of our guests had such a wonderful time at the wedding and a fantastic holiday as well.
Two guests in particular (my father & his fiancé) have a fear of flying and weren’t to keen on the idea of holidaying in Thailand. The only reason they were there was our wedding, but they had such a wonderful time, loved the resorts they stayed in, the people, the food, the tropical surrounds and of course the wedding itself that they have now vowed to journey back to Thailand for future holidays, now that is saying something.
Anna and Nats work did not stop there, other than helping myself and Rod and all of our guests with accommodation, restaurant recommendations and great activities for the duration of our stay in Thailand, they also suggested and organised fantastic places for us to stay for our honeymoon in Chiang Mai. Our honeymoon was relaxing and exactly what we needed after a busy few weeks in Koh Samui, the resorts that were recommended were amazing with such fantastic service, great food and spa treatments!! It was certainly the easiest most well planned holiday I have ever had. Rod and I (and all of our guests) have memories that will last a lifetime and for that we are so grateful!
