I absolutely love telling the story of how I met Anna and Natalie and how they went on to organise our super-stylish Koh Samui wedding!
As London-based Australians with a sister in Kenya, friends in New York and family in Australia, Koh Samui was the ideal central location. Anna and Natalie were instrumental in piecing everything together – they have an exceptional knowledge of the island and a travel writer’s instinct for discovering the best resorts, spas and restaurants the island has to offer. Their superb hotel suggestions covered every budget and their knowledge of the island is unsurpassable.
We entrusted Take us to Thailand to organise all our wedding events. From the boys boat ride and snorkelling for the stag day to my very un-hen night of cocktails and canapés by the sexiest pool in Samui. Our wedding day was magical. We married on the beach, sipped cocktails by a breathtaking candle lit lily pond and dined and danced on the beach, finally releasing giant Thai lanterns into the night sky. The day after the wedding we hosted the most delicious Thai barbecue and went swimming at a beautiful private beach. Anna and Natalie have a terrific sense of style and the look of all our events continually varied, giving our guests a taste of all the finest parts of the Island.
Anna and Natalie were genuinely excited to be involved in organising our big day and have amassed an amazing team of wedding professionals. Our celebrant was delightful and instantly put us at ease. Our photographer’s natural, graphic style gave us the most beautiful photographs showcasing the stunning scenery. They have developed wonderful relationships with the hotel staff and we were thoroughly spoilt during our stay for the wedding and honeymoon.
We cannot thank Anna and Natalie enough. They are amazingly organised and utterly professional. They understood exactly how we wanted our day to be and delivered a day that we both cherish. Thank you both so much – who would have thought a chance cappuccino could have lead to such wonderful memories!
